Doctor Lan Vuong is currently a lecturer, Deputy Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam. Dr. Vuong was among the first IVF team members in Viet Nam starting in 1997. She has performed more than 20,000 ART cycles since then, including conventional IVF, ICSI, oocyte donation, oocyte freezing, frozen embryo transfer and in-vitro maturation of oocytes. Dr Vuong has also been involved in training and providing technical support for the establishment of most IVF centers in Viet Nam. She is also a senior lecturer of many ART training courses in Viet Nam. Dr Vuong has published more than 30 articles in highly ranking local and international scientific journals, including the New England Journal of Medicine. She has been invited as a speaker for several regional and international meetings.

  • She has also partipated in many training courses for Reproductive Medicine (Research Center for Genetics and Reproductive Medicine, An Sinh Hospital and My Duc Hospital).
  • Lan Vuong has always maintained a strong commitment to engaging with the community. She is regularly invited to speak at different community forums about all aspects of Reproductive Medicine.
