On November 27, 2023, a delegation of experts from Monash University visited the HOPE Research Center at My Duc Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City. The delegation was led by Professor Ben W Mol, a world-renowned expert in reproductive health research and named the number one researcher in Australia in reproductive health and obstetrics and gynaecology. Professor Ben Mol has been a research advisor for My Duc Hospital since 2014.
The visit was among the yearly meeting series between My Duc hospital and Monash University experts to explore potential areas of research collaboration between the two institutions. The delegation met with hospital administrators and researchers to discuss a range of projects, including studies in infertility, obstetrics, and gynaecology. The Monash University professors expressed strong interest in collaborating with the HOPE Research Center to develop new research directions to improve reproductive health care’s safety and effectiveness. They also discussed potential research activities that could be undertaken jointly. The long-term collaboration could lead to significant advances in reproductive health care in Vietnam.
